Vista releases new IR bullet cameras

3rd June 2010, Reading UK

Vista has announced the release of the VBC300 and 301 day/night cameras offering standard and high resolution options. A fixed lens provides excellent coverage over a wide area, whilst integrated IR illumination up to 10m allows for covert operation in any light condition. The use of IR LED technology provides a number of additional benefits, including lower running costs and a vastly increased lifespan over traditional bulb technology.

Offering a quick and easy set-up, these cost-effective all-in-one solutions comprise of camera, lens, housing, bracket and IR illumination. The IP68 rating and integrated bracket means the cameras can be mounted almost anywhere, internally or externally, including secure walls, ceilings and soffits.

“These cameras are the first in a series that Vista is introducing to the market to provide effective internal and external coverage, regardless of ambient light conditions,” explains Mark Pritchard, Vista divisional director. “Although very cost effective, the VBC300 includes twin front glass to reduce reflectance back into the lens, thereby ensuring clear, high quality pictures are achieved.”
