7th Jan 2010, Reading UK
Expanding on its advanced feature set, the Vista Quantum PlusTM DVR range is now available with coaxial FSK telemetry control.
Utilizing the Quantum PlusTM DVR's integrated front panel keyboard or optional 3 axis VKBD keyboard, the inclusion of FSK coaxial telemetry control allows the control of remote devices via a single coaxial cable. Allowing Quantum Plus DVRs to integrate to the majority of popular camera control systems, Vista coax telemetry, Vista, Pelco P and Pelco D RS485 protocols are also supplied as standard.
Quantum PlusTM 4, 8 and 16-channel DVRs offer evidential quality video with real-time recording up to 400 ips. Their fully scalable and multimode recording abilities can provide programmable resolution per channel, at CIF, 2CIF or D1. Allied to per channel frame rate selection, flexibility of recording can be tailored to accommodate each connected camera's specific requirements automatically, via an on-board time schedule, and in response to VMD, audio or alarm activation modes. Quantum PlusTM is available with a choice of HDD storage capacities ranging from 320GB up to 4TB.
"The addition of FSK coaxial telemetry control, allied to multiprotocol RS485 makes the Quantum PlusTM DVR range suitable for a broad array of PTZ domes," says Mark Prichard, Vista's divisional director. "Using just a single coax cable for both video and telemetry control not only saves installation time and money, but allows the easy upgrade of existing static cameras to fully-functional PTZ domes."
