Style comes to CCTV at IFSEC 2005 as Vista, the UK?s premier brand of electronic security equipment, unveils the latest in entrance lobby monitoring ? a 20.1? TFT LCD Monitor with built-in colour camera. Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director of Vista, says: ?The addition of a built-in camera ensures the monitor is easy to set up, while its range of mounting options and lightweight design makes the unit a dream to install.?

The Vista VFSM20CAM/DS features a high quality TFT LCD screen, a built-in 1/3? high resolution (470TVL) colour camera with integrated varifocal lens (4-8mm) with the option to add another camera remotely to the unit. The unit is fully programmable via remote control and the internal camera features motion detection for optimum surveillance.

The LCD panel has an active display area of 408mm x 306mm with a screen resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and an expected minimum lifetime of 50,000 hours. The screen is viewable from a typical angle of 85 degrees from any direction.

?Style is a pre-requisite of many installations in modern and fashionable environments,? says Mark Pritchard. ?The built-in nature of this monitor?s camera adds to its appeal, not simply from the perspective of an easier install, but because its covert nature adds to the overall aesthetics of the installation. Good looks combined with effective monitoring will make this unit highly popular,

Typical applications include retail, designer stores, sports / health clubs, hotels and all public display applications.
